The future is ours. Let's get started.

What motivates me?

Born and raised in Dorchester, MA, I grew up dividing my time between the Fields Corner branch library, waiting for the red and green line (whenever it bothered to show up), and dreaming about the future. As I progressed through high school and college, the idea of the future grew clearer, helping me understand what it was that I wanted to dedicate myself to.

Sometime during my sophomore year of college, I interviewed an attorney who gave me a piece of advice that has served as a core piece of my academic studies and professional work. He said to me, "As an attorney, when someone calls you, they're not calling you from the sandy beaches with a margarita in hand. They're at the point in their lives where they need help. So when you pick up that phone, you need to be prepared to be the person that they need you to be."

As I continue my career, my primary goal has always remained to serve others rightfully as an advocate, a colleague, and a friend.

Gen Z will indubitably leave behind a legacy as a generation of people who didn’t let the poor decisions of our ancestors affect our future. I’m certain of that. But to my fellow revolutionaries, I implore you to slow down, take a second to breathe, and enjoy the simplicities that life has to offer.

Extremely out of my element and wearing a t-shirt that was a few sizes too big (perhaps there is some kind of poetic symbolism in that), I walked up and down the aisles, offering people a flyer just to offer them a flyer. “What am I even doing here?“ I asked myself, exhausted, holding a full stack of flyers and a mostly-blank petition.

Where Am I Going?

With only one year of college left, I am prioritizing completing my undergraduate studies, but I am eager to jump into the workforce and get started on my career.

I fell in love with the mission-driven work that feeds the non-profit world and I can't wait to return to my roots in Boston, serving the community that once served me.

One thing I know for sure:

The future is ours. Let's get started.

Thanks for visiting! Let's keep in touch.

Gratefully,
